Investing in Opportunity

Today is one of those days. ChatGPT just released Codex but only for the premium plans. The free Hostinger trial ended but for something free, it provided a remarkable value. I’ve signed up for the 250 message monthly plan. For the moment, the structure of the code seems to make sense and the integrated hosting keeps it simple.

What would cost hundreds of thousands of tokens on a larger system is combined as a ‘question’. The user cost comes to $0.20 per question. Knowing that there is a specific cost per question helps focus the mind. Taking the time to craft every word forces you to have that clear pseudocode in your mind, or at the very least the longer term roadmap on where you want to go.

UX has never been my area of expertise, but as this project evolves, its getting clearer and clearer in my mind where it needs to go. Now its as much psychological on my part – forcing myself to take the time to build it properly. What exactly is this mental block that is getting in my way of building what I know needs to be built? Why is it still pulling teeth to actually put pen-to-digital-paper on this process?
